In this talk, artist Grace Tan is joined by senior librarian at the National Library Board Timothy Pwee and Ivan Brehm, chef and owner of Nouri restaurant, to uncover how the nutmeg has served as a source material for their respective practices and influenced our culture at large.

This artist talk was presented in response to Grace Tan’s The fruit of deceit, a public art commission by The Everyday Museum, a public art initiative of Singapore Art Museum. The artwork is currently on view at Tanjong Pagar Distripark, Block 39, Level 2 corridor, staircase and service balcony facing port.
