Artist Talk: Rattan Eco Sprawl

How can art influence our understanding and interaction with nature and urban spaces? In this artist talk, Zen Teh discusses her interdisciplinary approach alongside key collaborators, combining photography, sculpture, and installation to address the impact of rapid urban development in Southeast Asia. The result is Rattan Eco Sprawl: Manifesting the Forest, a public art commission by The Everyday Museum, a public art initiative of Singapore Art Museum.

This artist talk was presented on the occasion of the launch of Rattan Eco Sprawl. The artwork is currently on view at Spottiswoode Park (access path opposite Spottiswoode Residences).
